Drum circle night returns to the Green Beacon for it's monthly percussive presence!
Rather than being defined and rigid, drum circles are a flowing expression of freedom and creativity. Everyone in a drum circle is equal and there are no “specific” parts that each person must play. Drum guide Matt Mikeska will be present to initiate each "song."
All are invited to join us for a night of collaborative percussion! Bringing percussion instruments is encouraged but not required, many drums provided! All ages welcome, no special skills required! BYOB for drummers 21+. Starts at 7 and goes till 9!
Admission is free, though gallery donations are graciously accepted. All gallery artwork will be available to browse and buy, features over 500 works from 200+ local/regional artists!
