ABOUT KELSEY BLACKSTONE
Kelsey Blackstone's groovy soul-pop and rock sound merge lush, contemporary tones with an old-school, live-instrument quality - and songs about joy, yearning, & the free-spirited wonders of life. She’s an award-winning songwriter and avid performer, playing solo shows self-accompanied with her piano or with her 6-piece band to sold-out rooms across the country, opening for acts such as Lloyiso, chrysalis, Zoe Sparks, Mom Rock, and Seeing Double. With a background in classical piano & cello, jazz voice, and vast musical theatre experience, Kelsey's approach to music is truly well-rounded and one-of-a-kind. Kelsey is a recent Berklee College of Music graduate, now based in Nashville. She strives to give her audiences inspiring, unifying and energizing experiences. Reviews have compared her music to the likes of Joss Stone, Sara Bareilles, Lake Street Dive, and Lawrence. Garnering hundreds of thousands of streams independently, with multiple national tours under her belt, Kelsey’s impact is growing at a rapid pace. Snorkeler is the dynamic new project led by Curtis, the frontman of the much-loved indie rock band Mom Rock. Known for their high-energy shows and loyal fanbase, Curtis has taken his experience from years of touring and crafted a fresh sound with Snorkeler—a band that blends the raw, anthemic spirit of Mom Rock with new, innovative musical layers. Compared to the likes of Talking Heads, The Killers, and OK Go, this tour will give fans the chance to experience Snorkeler live and hear new material that builds on the excitement and energy Curtis has always delivered.
