INTERN PROGRAM INFORMATION
Green Beacon Gallery is seeking all types of interns to work on the following projects during the upcoming spring/summer semester:
-Livestream performances
-Audio and Video productions
-Art gallery & event management
-Social media development
-Mural paintings initiative
The Gallery is a multifaceted arts consortium operating in the heart of downtown Greensburg. Opened in 2020, it is run by three music enthusiasts attempting to foster the blossoming of the small town's art scene. “To inspire and enable content creators of all disciplines” is the trio's mission.
Green Beacon interns will receive hands-on experience planning and running live & online events, working with sonic & visual artists, working with remote & in-person clients and getting a general feel for the back end of small business management. Preferred applicants are motivated by creative endeavors, are technologically competent and aren't so annoyed by people that they have to show it. Some work experience is a plus. Internships are unpaid, but interns will be allotted display space in the gallery for any of their own artistic works they'd wish to exhibit. To mitigate health risks, all state and federal Covid regulations must be followed.
